JOY of MOTHERHOOD

I've been commissioned by the Stake Relief Society to take pictures in preparation for a large activity. We started shooting today. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit with many sisters. I spent a bit of time with the Farrell family. They are amazing. One of those families that I look up to. I love to learn from LoriAnn. She's a great mentor. I created this for her. I hope it will have a home in the baby's room. I love it - truly a mother's love.

I'll try to post some more soon. What a fun project. I love to capture the joy and essence of who we are.

Amazing Young Missionaries!

Our Stake is having a special mission activity in February and asked us to take pictures of our class (Valiant 11) in white shirts and ties. I asked permission to do "missionary photos" as I would for missionaries leaving. On Sunday I took the class outside and got some great photos of them. Let me just say that WE HAVE THE GREATEST CLASS! They are fabulous! They are full of life, energy and a desire to learn and do the right thing. We have so much fun. I hope we get to teach them all year.

This is one of my favorite ones. I hope to make it a poster. In fact, I love it so much... I'd like to have a special package for 11-12 year old boys to have a photo just like this as a poster in their rooms to remind them of the goal and help them visualize and focus on the goal. Thanks to my class. They are the best!

Kaleigh's Seniors!

Kaleigh is a fun, sweet senior at LHS. I really enjoyed photographing her. She was a natural and I love the location. I really enjoyed meeting her and look forward to doing her family portraits as well. Thanks Kaleigh! You're a sweetheart.
