Working with my lights

I've been familiarizing myself with the studio lights. I got some cute pics of the kids, but I'm still working on the setup. Here's some of the pics

Teylor did this one to surprise Barry, she was so excited!

Lot's of Variety

I've done several different things in the past month, here's some of my favorites:

This is Ali, she's an adorable 6 year old girl full of life and excitement.

I did Senior pics for Brigham. He's an awesome guy in my ward. He will do well in life.
His sister Rebekah came to be an assistant and we got some cute pics while he was changing.

Marci & Chris moved the wedding date up, so we had to hurry and shoot some engagements. They'll be married in just over a month. They're a cute couple and way fun to work with.

Then there's me. I'll be having my third child in the next month. I always get a photo of me very pregnant, so when they say, "mommy, what did you look like when you had me?" I'll have a decent picture to give them. Things have been crazy and I don't feel ready yet, but I don't have much energy left and lots of pain to move...This isn't my best picture, but our friend Brandon came and shot it for me in my "studio" (in progress - i need more lights before I'll be happy with it.)
I love being able to give people something to remember forever.

Studio Test 2

My cousin and his wife came up with their little girl to play and we got these shots. They turned out cute, but I definately need more lights and I think I want hot lights, so I don't have to worry about the flash recycle time. More research and testing I suppose.

A Studio in Progress :)

I finally ordered some studio equipment. I've been wanting to for a long time, but I don't really have anywhere to put it all. Pam agreed that I could setup in her loft if I pay her when I shoot. Now being 6 1/2 months pregnant, in school, mother of 3 and having over 3 feet of snow and a hubby working nights and sleeping in the day, I decided the time was here that I just do it. I recieved my things on Tuesday and finally set them up today and Teylor was being cute to let me test it out. Space is limited and I need to rearrange a bit. I only got to take a few shots, but it got me very excited! I hope we can now do our family pics soon as well. Here's my first attempt!
